Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy relaunched the construction of a ₹2-crore indoor stadium at Banaganapalle on Wednesday (September 16, 2026).

Speaking to the media after laying the foundation stone, the Minister said he had secured the ₹2 crore from the then TDP government during his previous term as MLA. The construction stalled at the pillar stage after the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government came to power, he said.
