A tunnel under the Mersey has reopened after being closed due to a serious crash involving an off-road bike.
Merseyside Police said it received a report of the vehicle crashing in the Queensway Tunnel while travelling from Birkenhead to Liverpool at about 13:05 BST.
A spokesperson earlier advised that motorists should avoid the area while police were dealing with the incident.
