Qualcomm has unveiled two new premium mobile processors: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, designed for the agentic AI era of computing .
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 uses the 2nm process node, with custom-built Qualcomm Oryon CPU, rearchitected Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and the advanced Qualcomm Hexagon NPU.
These new Qualcomm chipsets claim to deliver enhanced mobile gaming with the new Adreno Neural Fusion that uses AI to deliver intelligent graphics for more immersive gameplay, richer visuals, and longer playtime.
They also feature AI powered camera capabilities with Advanced Professional Video (APV) support and Intelligent Pixel Control that claim to deliver deeper scene understanding, enhanced image quality, and more natural-looking photos and videos.
