Quake Champions is moving from a free-to-play game to a paid game for new players in a new update that has been launched today. The Microsoft Store version of the game is also being retired as the game goes back solely to Steam. Existing players will be able to enjoy the game without paying for it, have Platinum from the last 60 days refunded, and all locked content will be unlocked.
