PVPSIT Vijayawada to host IBM Quantum’s Qiskit Fall Fest 2026
Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology in Vijayawada has been named an academic partner for IBM Quantum’s Qiskit Fall Fest 2026. The two-month event will provide students with hands-on training in quantum computing and circuit design.

Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (PVPSIT), Kanuru, Vijayawada, has been selected as an official academic hosting partner for IBM Quantum’s Qiskit Fall Fest 2026, an international event aimed at promoting quantum computing education and engagement.
Speaking at the release of the official event poster, PVPSIT principal and chief patron of the Qiskit Fall Fest, K. Sivaji Babu, said the international technology festival would be conducted on the college campus from October 5 to November 30, 2026.
He said the two-month programme would feature a series of activities designed to enhance students’ awareness, practical skills and research interest in quantum computing.
The festival will include hands-on workshops and projects on the design of quantum circuits and algorithms, as well as expert talks and mentorship sessions, said G. Sridevi, Associate Professor of Physics and Lead Organiser of Qiskit Fall Fest.
