Religious rituals and cultural programmes were held at the temple for Lord Jagannath near Gorimedu on Thursday.
Organised by the Pondicherry Utkal Samaj, the Odhia community living in Puducherry and nearby areas gathered at the temple to recreate the famous Puri Chariot festival.
An event organised by the community since the construction of the temple at Gorimedu in 2007, witnessed chanting of bhajans by the devotees when the idols were taken out from the shrine to the chariot.
