Ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections due in early 2027, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to start a door-to-door outreach campaign from September 20 to highlight the work of its government.

AAP leader and Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia said on Friday (September 18, 2026) that the Statewide campaign would begin from September 20 and, through booth committee members, they would reach every household and highlight the work of the incumbent government.

Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, he said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will also join the campaign in Dhuri town, even as the party will simultaneously launch its membership drive and release its election campaign pamphlet on September 19.
