PSGIM students take management learning into community

PSGIM students take management learning into community COIMBATORE During the National Management Week 2026, around 250 students of PSG Institute of Management (PSGIM), Coimbatore, will take management learning beyond the classroom and into the community through initiatives focusing on waste management, rabies awareness, and preventing pollution caused by indiscriminate poster pasting, under the overarching theme of ‘Clean and Safe City’. Observed from October 26 to 31 under the aegis of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS-New Delhi), the initiatives reflect a simple yet meaningful belief: building a better city is a shared responsibility. During the week, students will engage with communities at more than 30 identified waste hotspots across Coimbatore. By promoting waste segregation at source and responsible disposal, they will encourage everyday practices that protect the environment and improve neighbourhoods for everyone. The initiative will also highlight the connection between unmanaged waste and street dogs.
