Protests for outside Ed Sheeran show, ticket prices drop

Pro-Palestine protests are planned outside the US stadium where Ed Sheeran is due to play on Saturday, as tickets for the show were made available for as low as $76 (€66.30).

Earlier this week, Irish acts Aaron Rowe and Beoga, Irish-American solo artist Finneas, and Denmark's Lukas Graham announced they were leaving their guest slots on Sheeran's tour in solidarity with the American rapper Macklemore, who was removed from the tour over his comments about Gaza.

Sheeran, 35, began his tour in Auckland, New Zealand, in January.

It is set to wrap up in Mexico City in December, with 18 shows still scheduled across North and South America.

Sheeran is next due to play in Philadelphia on Saturday night.

However, tickets are now being sold for as low as $76 (€66.30).
