Proteas Beat Australia 2nd ODI

Copy link South Africa beat Australia by 32 runs in the second ODI. With this win, South Africa clinched the three-match series 2-0. The third ODI will be played at Senwes Park on 30 September.

Batting first, South Africa scored 365/9 in 50 overs. David Miller scored 142 and captain Temba Bavuma made 103. The pair shared a 156-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

In reply, Australia were bowled out for 333 in 49.4 overs. Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head scored 84 each.

South Africa got off to a poor start. Aiden Markram was dismissed off the first ball. Quinton de Kock also returned to the pavilion after scoring 36. Bavuma and Matthew Breetzke then steadied the innings, but Breetzke was dismissed after scoring 30.
