Property offender arrested in Nandyal, gold jewellery worth ₹15 lakh recovered

An inter-state property offender was arrested and stolen gold jewellery worth ₹15 lakh was recovered from him by the Nandyal Taluka police on Thursday.
Nandyal Superintendent of Police Suneel Sheoran told media persons that they received a complaint from Kodandarami Reddy, a resident of Shiva Sai Gardens, about a robbery at his home while he and his wife went out to purchase groceries on March 7 last year.
On Thursday, while a special police team was conducting vehicle checks near the Raitunagar Bridge in Nandyal town, a suspect was caught while he was attempting to flee upon spotting the police. During interrogation, he admitted to his involvement in the theft that took place in March last year and was arrested.
