Prohibited lands, KCR’s absence set to dominate Telangana Assembly proceedings

The monsoon session, coming after the budget session which ended on March 30 , is expected to witness heated debates on various issues, prime among them being the controversy over the inclusion of several private lands in the prohibited list ( Section 22A of the Registration Act ) that created consternation among house/land owners.
The main Opposition BRS , as well as the BJP , have asserted that they will “expose” the double standards of the Government, which was doling out land to private individuals and eyeing private individuals' land during the session.
