Proddatur woman constable bags silver medal at 11th All India Police Games
A woman police constable from Proddatur, P. Sivakumari, won a silver medal in Penchak Silat at the 11th All India Police Games. Other local police personnel also performed well in Taekwondo, earning praise from the District Superintendent of Police.

Proddatur III Town Police Station Woman Police Constable (WPC-2186), P. Sivakumari, bagged a Silver Medal in Penchak Silat – open 2, over 100-kg, in the individual category, at the 11th All India Police Games–2026, held at Gachibowli, Hyderabad, during July 23-30, 2026.
Proddatur II Town Police Station Sub-inspector (SI) S. Mahaboob Basha, and Proddatur Traffic Police Constable (PC-2559) S.P. Mahaboob Basha performed well in Taekwondo – Poomsae category, advancing up to the quarter-finals.
District Superintendent of Police Shelke Nachiket Viswanath congratulated the three personnel for their impressive performances and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in sports while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in their service.
