Probe ordered into Tripura CHO recruitment exam paper ‘leak’

Tripura Police have launched an investigation into an alleged question paper leak in the recruitment examination for 126 Community Health Officer (CHO) posts under the National Health Mission (NHM), officials said on Thursday (September 3, 2026).
The probe follows a complaint lodged by an aspirant, Ruma Deb, at the NCC police station in West Tripura on August 31, alleging that the question paper was leaked a day before the written examination held on February 1 this year.
Mr. Deb has also raised doubts over some candidates scoring 97 and 98 marks despite the examination having negative marking, police said. "We came to know that some job aspirants had received the questions just 24 hours before the written examination," NCC police station Officer-in-Charge Paritosh Das said.
