Led by District Fire Officer S. Karunakaran, the fire and rescue services personnel trained the private security guards on operating different types of fire extinguishers to control the electric, gas, petrol, diesel, vehicle, crackers fires besides common fire.
They taught them the systematic firefighting methods like disconnecting electricity to the building in flames.
