Private sector job fair in Erode on August 21
The District Employment and Career Guidance Centre in Erode is hosting a private sector job fair on August 21. The event is free for both employers and jobseekers with varying levels of qualifications.

A small-scale private sector job fair will be held at the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre here on August 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m..
Collector S. Kandasamy, in a release, said the centre conducts a private sector job fair on the third Friday of every month, with various private employers participating in the recruitment process. Jobseekers with qualifications ranging from basic literacy to graduation, besides those qualified for jobs such as nurses, tailors, computer operators, typists and drivers, are eligible to participate.
More than 100 jobseekers benefit from the initiative every month. Skill training institutions also participate and select candidates for various skill development programmes.
