Private sector donates 100 bins worth sh30m to boost N

________________ Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has received 100 garbage bins valued at sh30m from corporate companies to support the national cleaning exercise slated for Saturday, August 29. The bins were handed over during a ceremony held at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala. They were donated by private sector players led by Green Action for Sustainable Production (GASP) as part of their corporate social responsibility to support government efforts to improve sanitation and waste management. Nabbanja commended the private sector for complementing government efforts to keep Uganda clean, saying proper waste disposal remains a major challenge, especially in urban areas. "The Government cannot do this alone. We need partners like you. These bins will help us maintain cleanliness during and after the national cleaning exercise," she said.
