Prisoner who escaped from Kalaburagi jail arrested

Bidar Police have successfully apprehended Mastan Kamalapur, the final prisoner of three who had escaped from Kalaburagi Central Prison. The arrest concludes a search operation following the prisoners' escape by scaling the jail walls.

The Bidar Police on Thursday arrested Mastan Kamalapur, the last of the three prisoners who escaped from the Kalaburagi Central Prison recently.
Mastan Kamalapur, who was lodged in prison in connection with a POCSO case, was apprehended during a police operation in Islamapur village in Basavakalyan taluk of Bidar district in the morning.
Three prisoners, including Mastan, recently escaped from the Kalaburagi Central Prison by scaling its wall. While two of them were arrested earlier, Mastan remained at large till he was arrested.
