Reporting for Axios, Barak Ravid said Ukrainian President Zelensky told him, “The ceasefire announcement was news for me. But if Russians agree to an energy ceasefire, Ukraine will agree.”
“If President Trump negotiated it with Putin,” Zelensky continued, “please tell us when the ceasefire begins — we are ready, and we will accept it.”
This is the second time President Trump has made a similar announcement, noted Bloomberg’s Javier Blas .
There was a time when President Trump’s weekend postings could move markets in a big way, but that appears to have passed. Oil prices aren’t moving much on Hyperliquid, while traditional market oil trading doesn’t open for a few hours.
Crypto prices are flat, with bitcoin trading just under $83,000.
