President Rinkēvičs heads to Lithuania
Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs is visiting Lithuania to meet with top government officials to discuss regional security, defense, and support for Ukraine. The trip includes a business forum, a university lecture, and various diplomatic ceremonies.

On Wednesday, the President will meet with his Lithuanian counterpart, President Gitanas Nausėda, plus Juozas Olekas, Speaker of the Seimas [parliament], and Mindaugas Sinkevičius, the recently-installed Prime Minister of Lithuania, in Vilnius. "During the visit, the Presidents of Lithuania and Latvia will discuss bilateral relations, regional security and defense, as well as support for Ukraine," according to a release from the Lithuanian President's office. The two Presidents last bumped into each other just a few days ago at the NATO summit in Ankara.
