President Mahama in Egypt for AU Mid-Year Summit

President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana is attending the Eighth African Union Mid-Year Coordination Summit in Egypt. He is scheduled to participate in the Alamein Africa Forum and deliver a keynote address on investing in health manufacturing.

President John Dramani Mahama is in the Alamein city of Egypt, to participate in the Eighth African Union (AU) Mid-Year Coordination Summit, which opens Saturday .
The President will also join the maiden Alamein Africa Forum, which is running parallel to the AU Heads of State Summit.
A statement issued by the Presidency said the Alamein Africa Forum opens with an address by the President of Egypt and a keynote by Nigerian businessman, Aliko Dangote.
It said President Mahama would later deliver the keynote at a plenary session on “Investing in Health: Manufacturing and Regional Value Chains”.
