    Denis Hurley Kanturk will bridge a 14-year gap on Sunday when they take on St Finbarr’s in the semi-finals of the Co-op SuperStores Premier SHC.

Following an impressive quarter-final performance to dethrone champions Sarsfields, Kanturk will make their debut at the last-four phase in the SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh clash, which has a 2pm throw-in time.

It will be the first instance of a maiden semi-final appearance for a club since 2012 – back then, both Bishopstown and Ballymartle were appearing at the penultimate stage for the first time, the seventh and eighth clubs to do so since the turn of the millennium as the championship underwent a greater democratisation.
