Precision optics to make plant health visible from space

Researchers at the Fraunhofer IOF have developed high-precision optical components for the ESA's upcoming FLEX satellite mission. These components will allow the satellite to measure plant fluorescence from space to better understand vegetation health and photosynthesis.
