Pre-filled Form 7 Muslim voter deletions linked to BJP, alleges Owaisi

Asaduddin Owaisi has alleged that pre-filled Form 7 applications were submitted in bulk to delete minority voters from electoral rolls in Hyderabad's Goshamahal constituency. He has called for an official inquiry, claiming the actions are linked to a BJP supporter.
Why it matters
Allegations of voter suppression and electoral roll manipulation are significant concerns for democratic integrity and political stability.
Hyderabad parliamentarian Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday alleged that a set of pre-filled Form 7 applications seeking deletion of voters names from the electoral rolls were submitted in Goshamahal Assembly constituency, a segment which is a part of the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, and sought an inquiry and action against the individual who submitted the forms in bulk.
Citing a specific example, Mr Owaisi said 122 Form 7 applications had been submitted at Booth 28 in Goshamahal and maintained that they were part of a deliberate exercise to seek deletion of voters names belonging to the minority community.
He stated that the forms were “pre-printed” and said his enquiries revealed that the person who submitted them was one Janardhan whom he described as a “BJP supporter or sympathiser”.
