Pratibha Puraskar: Minister felicitates 181 top student achievers
Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda honored 181 high-achieving students at the 'Pratibha Puraskar' event. During the ceremony, he also urged citizens to avoid using plastic-based idols and loud music during the upcoming Ganesha Chaturthi festival.

Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda on Saturday (August 29) felicitated 181 high-performing students, including a student who scored a perfect 625 out of 625 in the SSLC examination, at a felicitation programme organised in the city.
The top five SSLC performers and top three PU achievers were given tablets as special recognition, while all 181 students received certificates, medals and mementoes at the Nammuru Hemme programme. The ‘Pratibha Puraskar’ programme was organised by the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) in association with the Bengaluru Urban District Zilla Panchayat.
Addressing the students, Mr. Gowda said scoring more than 99% was no ordinary achievement and reflected years of discipline, hard work and perseverance. “Such achievements are possible only through sustained hard work. It is our responsibility to celebrate such talent,” he said.
