Labour, Employment and Dharwad district in-charge Minister Santosh Lad launched the ‘Praja Seva’ campaign at the Janata English Medium School in Kalaghatagi on Saturday, aimed at resolving people’s grievances in a time-bound manner.

Mr. Lad said the government established the Praja Seva Department to address people’s problems and ensure their speedy disposal. “The government will reach the doorsteps of the people. Grievances will be heard and resolved at the taluk and district levels,” he said.

He said officials have been instructed to dispose of petitions within the stipulated time. Praja Seva campaign meetings would be organised in every taluk, he added.

Prasad Abbayya, MLA, said the government was committed to serving the people, particularly farmers, workers, and women. He urged elected representatives and officials to discharge their responsibilities honestly and resolve grievances within the prescribed timeframe.
