Commenting on it, double Olympic medallist India goalie and former player PR Sreejesh posted a sarcastic text on X with clown emoji. He penned, “Don’t worry… the World Cup doesn’t matter.” But it was not just Sreejesh who commented. Ex-captain of the Indian hockey team Viren Rasquinha also voiced his concerns after both units' exit from major tournaments.
