THE Public Procurement Appeals Authority (PPAA), has introduced a mobile application to enable tender bidders to lodge complaints and appeals over public procurement decisions.
This move is aimed at reducing the cost of seeking justice and expediting the resolution of disputes.
PPAA Head of Legal Services, Agnes Sayi said the application allows stakeholders to access the complaints and appeals module through Tanzania’s National e-Procurement System (NeST), provided they have a smartphone and internet connectivity.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (AQRB) Annual Conference 2026 at Arusha, Sayi said the digital platform had simplified the submission and processing of procurement disputes.
“The module has significantly helped reduce costs, improve transparency and maintain records, while enabling us to process complaints and appeals within the time prescribed by law,” she said.
