Why it matters
Allegations of serious foul play in professional sports can lead to significant disciplinary actions and impact player safety standards.
Munster head coach Clayton McMillan said "the powers that be" will decide on the outcome of an allegation of serious foul play, after his side's 24-18 defeat to Leinster at Aviva Stadium.
Munster's injury-hit squad felt the full force of Leinster's internationals in the second half of their interpro, as McMillan's side saw their 13-0 lead wiped out by four Leinster tries.
There was a major flashpoint late in the first half, when Munster's Gavin Coombes alleged he had been grabbed in the groin by an unnamed Leinster player at a ruck.
Referee Andrew Brace stopped play during the 39th minute and spent some time speaking to his TMO, who searched for footage of the alleged incident to no avail.
While the officials weren't able to identify the incident during the game, it may still be referred to the citing commissioner.
