Powderfinger adds additional capital city shows for 2027 reunion tour after pre

The band announced their return last week , ten years after their final live show in 2010, revealing they will take to the road for shows across Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Cairns in late 2027.

Powderfinger formed in 1989, and released five ARIA number one albums and won 18 ARIA Awards before their split.

Fans signed up for the artist and Telstra pre-sales this morning reported long waits as thousands of people attempted to score tickets to the hotly-anticipated tour.
