Two individuals infected with measles may have exposed others at Millersville University and Whole Foods Market earlier this month, the state Department of Health announced today.
Attendees at a soccer camp at Millersville University on Aug. 4 and 5 may have been exposed. The Department of Health is reaching out to individuals who were part of the camp as part of its contact tracing process.
The potential exposure at Whole Foods Market, 1563 Fruitville Pike in Manheim Township, occurred on Aug. 12.
People who are unvaccinated for measles are most at risk for catching the virus. The vaccine is 97% effective in preventing the illness when a person has received two doses.
