Postal fund to become ‘reality’ with RM150mil injection

PETALING JAYA: The government's postal fund to ensure postal and parcel delivery services continue to reach rural and remote areas will become a "reality" when RM150 million is injected into it in the first quarter of 2027.
Communications minister Fahmi Fadzil said the fund, managed by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), would help support deliveries to "underserved" areas.
