Postal division to organise free Aadhaar camps at institutions

The Mysuru Postal division is launching free Aadhaar enrolment and update camps at various educational and organizational premises. While the service is free, standard UIDAI charges for specific Aadhaar corrections will still apply.

Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Mysuru division, G. Harish has said that the Mysuru Postal division has decided to organise free Aadhaar enrolment and updation camps at the premises of organisations and educational institutions.
The camps will provide facilities for Aadhaar-related corrections and updation, besides enrolment for new Aadhaar cards.
While the organisation of the camps will be free of cost, individuals seeking Aadhaar enrolment or corrections will have to pay the charges prescribed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Mr. Harish said.
