KLANG, Aug 20 — A man and a woman linked to the death of a dog named Rocky are scheduled to appear in court today.
The man is expected to be charged before Sessions Court judge Mujib Saroji. The woman will also appear before Judge Saroji, in addition to facing separate charges before magistrate A. Karthiyayini. The specific sections and Acts under which they will be charged have not yet been confirmed, NST reported.
The case stems from an enforcement operation in Taman Teluk Gedong Indah, Port Klang, last month, during which Rocky died.
In light of the incident, Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar advised the public yesterday against holding rallies or demonstrations over the dog's death.
