Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man who was left in a critical condition after violence broke out in a village.
Anthony "Tony" Jones, 56, from Brecon suffered life-threatening injuries in an incident to which Gwent Police firearms officers were called in Pontnewynydd, near Pontypool, on Thursday .
The force said seven men aged 31, 39, 40, 45, 59, 61, and 73 had been arrested in connection to "disorder" and all seven remained in police custody.
