Police will intensify road safety measures, says Anakapalli SP
Anakapalli Superintendent of Police Tuhin Sinha announced intensified road safety measures, including stricter enforcement of traffic rules and increased use of breath analysers. The initiative is supported by a CSR contribution from a local pharmaceutical company to help curb accidents.

Superintendent of Police Tuhin Sinha on Tuesday said the district police would step up road safety measures by strengthening enforcement of traffic rules and expanding public awareness campaigns to curb road accidents and save lives.
He was speaking at a programme in which Pharmagel Company, based at Parawada, handed over eight breath analysers to the district police under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
Mr. Sinha said the Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS), installed along National Highway 16 in the district, had detected a large number of traffic rule violations through video surveillance. The additional breath analysers would strengthen enforcement against drunk driving by enabling the police to conduct more frequent and extensive checks across the district, he said.
