Police seize nearly one tonne of suspected adulterated paneer
Police in Telangana seized nearly one tonne of suspected adulterated paneer being transported in unhygienic conditions. Two individuals have been identified in connection with the illegal supply of the unbranded dairy product.

The Malkajgiri Food Adulteration Surveillance Team (M-FAST) team of the Uppal Zone, in coordination with the Medipally police, seized 980 kg of suspected adulterated paneer and two sport utility vehicles during a raid at Narapally Main Road near Nandanavanam Park under the limits of Medipally police station on Wednesday.
The team intercepted the SUVs that were allegedly transporting paneer manufactured under unhygienic conditions from unlicensed units at Pembarthi and Pochanapet villages in Jangaon district.
According to the police, the paneer was unbranded, unpacked and did not carry manufacturing or expiry dates. It was allegedly being supplied to buyers illegally.
