Police seize 68 kg of ganja in Salem, arrest six from Keralam

The Salem City Police on Friday (September 11) arrested six persons from Keralam for allegedly smuggling 68 kg of ganja.
On Thursday evening, the Karipatti police seized 2 kg of ganja in an unclaimed bag at Nattamangalam. Following this, the police intensified vehicle checks across the district.
During such a vehicle check at Ayothiyapattinam in the wee hours of Friday, the police seized 2 kg of ganja from a car. Based on the information provided by the two occupants in the car, the police seized 64 kg of ganja from two other cars.
