Around 450 kg of gutka was seized at a police check post in Kariyamangalam village near Chengam town in Tiruvannamalai on Tuesday.
The police said that based on orders of the Superintendent of Police R. Uthayakumar, a special team conducted a surprise check at the check post on Cuddalore–Chittoor Highway.
