Police seize 1.5 kg ganja, arrest three from Odisha

Police in Annamayya district arrested three individuals from Odisha and seized 1.5 kg of ganja intended for sale. The suspects are currently being processed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Police seized 1.5kg of ganja allegedly smuggled from Odisha for sale and arrested three youth at Rayachoti in Annamayya district on Tuesday. Speaking to the media, Superintendent of Police (SP) Dheeraj Kunubilli said the accused were identified as Syed Huzaifa, Katti Vinay Kumar and Syed Mohammed Rafi, all from Odisha. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act and further investigation is under way.
