Police say man allegedly raped woman on his way to work in Brisbane's west
A 32-year-old man has been charged with multiple counts of rape and other offenses following an alleged sexual assault in Brisbane's west. The suspect was arrested after police identified his vehicle near the crime scene.

Jacob Dave Henry Hauraki, 32, has appeared in court charged with multiple counts of rape after an alleged sexual assault on a 23-year-old woman in Brisbane's west.
Mr Hauraki's matter was heard in court this morning but he did not appear, and there was no application for bail.
He is expected to return to court on September 18.

Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham said the 23-year-old woman had been walking in Brookfield with a family member who she had become separated from about 6:30am yesterday.
