A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by an allegedly stolen car seen driving erratically near Melbourne's Flinders St station.

Witnesses told the ABC the car came very close to the Melbourne marathon route.

Paramedics confirmed one person was taken to hospital, while Victoria Police have arrested a teenager over the incident who will be interviewed.
