Police looking for man taking photos of homes before break-ins
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a series of break-ins involving a man seen photographing homes and a black BMW SUV. Authorities have requested public assistance by providing online portals for video evidence submissions.

Police are looking to speak with a man and find more information about a black BMW SUV, in connection with a break-and-enter investigation in two Kitchener neighbourhoods.
Aug. 15, police said the individual in the photo they released was reported taking photos of homes and yards in the Deer Ridge neighbourhood.
He is described as white, in his forties, with short dark brown hair and wearing a baseball cap, maroon T-shirt, and blue jeans.
Investigators would like to speak with him.
The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said a black BMW SUV seen in that same neighbourhood could also be connected to the case. It was spotted in the area between 5:20 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Police added shortly before 9:00 p.m., that same SUV was seen twenty minutes away on Newbury Drive, near Ira Needles Boulevard and Highland Road West.
