POLICE are investigating a series of housebreaking and theft cases reported in Wanaheda, Mariental, Katutura and Ndama, with stolen property and cash valued at more than N$123,000 reported across the incidents.
According to the Namibian Police weekend crime report, in Wanaheda, an unknown suspect allegedly broke a padlock at a property in Hakahana on Friday and stole a security guard uniform, two magazines loaded with 10 rounds each, a black pistol holder, two cooler boxes and N$3,500 in cash.
The stolen items are estimated to be worth N$21,000. Police investigations are ongoing.
