The Rajamangalam Police have filed a case against a 31-year-old TVK worker and five others for demanding money and preventing an underground gas pipeline project to be executed in Kolathur on Saturday.

Police said N. Dileep, a resident of West Mada Street of Kolathur, has more than seven petty cases. Dileep who is also a member of the TVK party had been harassing the workers executing the underground pipeline project of a private gas agency for more than a fortnight by going with a gang of six persons demanding protection money.
