Police arrest, in all, 12 in several cases in Kalaburagi

The police have, in all, arrested 12 men, including members of inter-State gangs, in connection with cattle theft, house burglary and chain-snatching cases reported from different parts of Kalaburagi district.
Gold ornaments, cash, cattle and a vehicle, in all valued at over ₹15 lakh, have been recovered in these several cases.
Addressing a press conference in Kalaburagi on Thursday, Superintendent of Police Adduru Srinivasulu said that the special investigation teams constituted under the supervision of Aland Deputy Superintendent of Police Thammaraya Patil arrested the accused in all these cases.
In one of the cases, the Nimbarga Police gave the names of two arrested as Siddappa Suprayya Kale and Govind Surachand Bhosale, both from Solapur district in Maharashtra, for committing burglaries in locked houses. The police have recovered 10 grams of gold ornaments and ₹30,000 in cash from them.
