Police arrested two inter-state burglars in Vadodara and recovered stolen valuables worth ₹18 lakh within 24 hours of the crime. The suspects were apprehended on a train heading to Delhi, with one suspect linked to over 40 previous burglary cases.

The city police arrested two inter-State burglars in Vadodara and recovered valuables worth around ₹18 lakh within 24 hours of the accused committing the alleged crime.
Police gave the names of the accused as Arman Khan alias Aman Soni, 34, of North-East Delhi, and Sanjeev Kumar alias Johnny, 34, a resident of Sultan Puri in New Delhi.
On September 28, residents of a house in Sahayog Residency Complex on Alake Kambla Cross Road, had went out at around 3 p.m., locking the doors. When they returned at around 5 p.m., they found that the front-door latch was broken and the house was ransacked. The burglars had allegedly escaped with gold jewellery worth around ₹14 lakh, cash, a watch and a trolley bag, among others. The North police had registered a case in this regard.
