Police announce traffic diversions to facilitate UGD works between Thaneerpandal junction and TNPDCL sub-station on Codissia Road in Coimbatore
Coimbatore police have announced temporary traffic diversions on Codissia Road to accommodate underground drainage pipeline construction from August 19 to September 7. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes through Thaneerpandal and surrounding areas to avoid the closed stretch.

The police have announced traffic diversions to facilitate the laying of underground drainage (UGD) pipeline by the Coimbatore Corporation between Thaneerpandal junction and the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) sub-station on Codissia Road from August 19 to September 7.
Entry of vehicles will be prohibited on the stretch during the 20 days. Two-wheelers and four-wheelers should alternatively use Thaneerpandal ninth street (Foundry Road) via Tamil Nadu Housing Board area to get connected to Codissia Road and further to Avinashi Road.
Heavy vehicles, which used to take the closed stretch to reach Avinashi Road, should pass via Thaneerpandal junction, Gandhima Nagar Road and Pioneer Mill Road to get connected to Avinashi Road.
