Starting off with the chipset, F9 Ultra brings the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which has been powering Android flagships for the last twelve months. The F9 Pro gets the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series (SM8850-1-AB). According to Qualcomm’s own documents, the V series version of the chip features a slightly watered-down GPU. It’s still an Adreno 840 but with one less GPU slice compared to the 8 Elite Gen 5 proper.
The F9 Ultra is configurable with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, while the F9 Pro maxes out at 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
