PNB partners with A.P. to set up Quantum Finance Innovation Hub in Amaravati

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has partnered with the Andhra Pradesh government to establish a Quantum Finance Innovation Hub in Amaravati. The hub aims to leverage quantum computing and AI to enhance cybersecurity and fraud detection in the banking sector.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) will establish a Quantum Finance Innovation Hub at the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Quantum Mission.
An MoU to this effect was signed in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and PNB Managing Director and CEO Ashok Chandra at the Secretariat on Thursday.
With this partnership, PNB had become the first bank in India to join hands with a State government for setting up a dedicated Quantum Finance Innovation Hub focused on the banking sector.
The proposed hub would work towards developing advanced technological solutions for the financial sector, with a focus on strengthening cybersecurity, improving fraud detection mechanisms and creating secure digital banking ecosystems using quantum technologies.
